Camera-ready paper submission & Registration

 

The steps required to finalize the paper’s upload process are described in the following paragraphs:

I. Proceed with registration

As a first step you must register for the conference in the website:

REGISTRATION

Please select pre-registration for "PRIME14 Ph.D Research in Microelectronics and Electronics" (be careful selecting the right conference!)

After completing the pre-registration you will receive a confirmation email with a web link to finalize your on-line registration

Please, do not forget to finalize your registration before May 29th, it is mandatory with camera-ready paper & copyrigth form submission.

PLEASE NOTE that any accepted paper included in the final program is expected to have at least one author to attend and present the paper at the conference. Authors of the accepted papers included in the final program who do not attend the Conference will be subscribed to a “No Show List”. The “No Show List” will also be made available to the following PRIME conference organizers, who can reject submissions from these authors in the following years, based on their past negative impact on the conference.

AT LEAST ONE AUTHOR of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference. If you have multiple papers, we require AT LEAST ONE REGISTRATION BY PAPER.

 

II. Proceed with camera-ready paper and copyright form submission

II.A General Instructions for camera-Ready paper and copyright form submission

  1. Prepare you camera-ready paper (section II.B) and copyright form (section II.D), please follow the instructions carefully, otherwise your paper may not be published on IEEE Xplore.
  2. To ensure the accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings, final paper and copyright form must be submitted together (Zip file of the 2 PDF files) by May 29th, 2014 using EasyChair (section II.E)

II.B Prepare your camera-ready paper

  1. While preparing the final version of your paper, please make sure to read the reviews of your paper and take into account the reviewers' recommendations for revising it. Each accepted manuscript should not exceed four (4) IEEE style pages.
  2. IMPORTANT: as part of the final submission, please include a copy of Copyright Clearance Code (CCC) Notice (see below to identify the right CCC Notice) in the footnote below any funding/sponsor declaration on the first page of the paper (see template with CCC)
  3. No page numbers should be used in the final camera-ready paper
  4. Final paper must be submitted as PDF file and comply with IEEE Format for Conference paper submission. IEEE PDF compliance must be checked through the IEEE PDF eXpress web site (see section II.C). Authors should obtain a clean compliance report from IEEE PDF eXpress

II.C Instructions to Use PDF eXpress:

  1. Go to the IEEE PDF eXpress login page and register your paper; http://www.pdf-express.org, Conference ID: 33109X.
  2. If you are a new user click on “New Users – Click here” and fill in your information. You’ll need the conference ID 33109X to apply for the account.
  3. Follow on-site instruction for using IEEE PDF eXpress ; once your PDF has been approved with clean compliance report you can submit it with EasyChair.

 

II.D Copyright Form

 An IEEE Copyright Form must be submitted for each paper. Please go to the following link, download and sign the copyright file and upload it (scanned version with your signature using PDF format) along with your final paper on easychair:

For the "IEEE PUBLICATION TITLE (Journal, Magazine, Conference, Book)" item on the copyright form, please fill exactly: "2014 10th Conference on Ph.D. Research in Microelectronics and Electronics (PRIME)". This is a requirement from IEEE.

PLEASE NOTE that your paper will not be published in IEEE Xplore without a correct copyright form.

 

II.E Measures against plagiarism

  A paper detected with plagiarism will be excluded from the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore. In addition, the authors' names could go to the black list of IEEE for detected papers with plagiarism.

 

 

It is the responsibility of the author(s) to ensure that all conditions for paper publishing are met.

To submit your IEEE PDF eXpress passed camera ready paper and the signed copyright form (respecting the aforementionned rules), please combine them together into a ZIP file (the final submission page only allows to submit a single file for each accepted paper). Then submit it with Easychair system:
